SOCIAL ART AND CULTURE An Aperture for Socially Responsible Artisans

The specific purpose of Social Art and Culture is to encourage design that affects social change. SAAC "Art Activists" will use the power of the performing, visual, music and literary arts to address AIDS, education, housing, health and the environment within disadvantaged communities.

The specific objectives shall be:

1) Art is an integral part of change in social causes.

2) DC will consist of a socially responsible artisans collective who collaborate and participate in educational based art programs designed to reach neglected communities throughout the District of Columbia.

We Act Radio

We Act Radio is a new radio station broadcasting from the heart of historic Anacostia in Washington, DC, and beaming truth directly into the corridors of power. Whether tuning in to 1480AM or joining us on the web at www.weactradio.com, our listeners will hear a lineup with four major components:
