Armenian Culture Celebration
Join the Museum of the Bible for a special day celebrating Armenia, the world's first Christian nation. The Armenian people have one of the richest biblical histories and cultures in the world. Their historic lands include the traditional resting place of Noah's ark and the garden of Eden. Visit the local Armenian artisan market, enjoy a d
igital exhibition about the churches of Nagorno-Karabakh, learn about Christmas traditions, taste the flavors of Armenia, see artistic presentations, and more. This event is Saturday, January 29, 10am-4pm. It's free with a general museum admission ticket. 

Basilica of the National Shrine of
the Immaculate Conception

Located at 400 Michigan Avenue, NE, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is the largest Roman Catholic Church in the United States. It is also one of the ten largest churches in the world. Pope Francis, Pope Benedict XVI, Saint Pope John Paul II, and Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta all visited the Basilica. Mass and tours are available online.
