Superfine! is an art fair that focuses on accessibly-priced work set in a space that allows art collectors to discover new artists and others to cross the bridge from art-curious to art collector. The founders of Superfine! work to offer artists an affordable exhibition platform and fairgoers friendly price points on the displayed artwork. The fair is a place for buying and selling great art as artists-exhibitors enthusiastically talk to and guide fairgoers who are eager to discover artwork suited to them. More than 300 visual artists will present new artwork in 74 curated booths when Superfine! DC opens at Union Market's Dock 5. Costumes are optional but fun is required at this old-fashioned, family-friendly Halloween party. Enjoy the treats, tricks, and games played during a Victorian Halloween, as well as the DAR Museum's House of Horrors. Inspired by Halloween games from the late 19th and early 20th century, nine DAR Museum period rooms have been decorated with spooky and mysterious objects. DowntownDC Fall Festival Join the seasonal fun at the DowntownDC Fall Festival on Wednesday, October 31 and enjoy a free food, music and more. Head to Woodrow Wilson Plaza at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, from 11 am to 2 pm to enjoy a petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, and face painting.
