Around the World Embassy Tour

Experience the Around The World Embassy Tour on Saturday, May 5, from 10 am to 4 pm. Participating embassies include Afghanistan, the African Union, Albania, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Benin, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Gabon, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Haiti, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Kosovo, Malaysia, Mexico, Micronesia, Morocco, Nepal, Oman-Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Uganda, Uruguay, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe. Discover and learn the similarities and differences between them as you travel the globe without leaving DC!

 

All Hallows Guild Flower Mart

Calling all garden enthusiasts! Enjoy the 2018 Flower Mart, one of spring's most impressive showcases of colorful perennials, cutting-edge landscape exhibits and extraordinary floral arrangements produced by international floral designers. See the diverse florae and take part in family-friendly activities including garden tours and rides on an antique carousel. This year's Flower Mart at the Washington National Cathedral is an official Passport DC event.

 

Sitar Performance with
Anupama Bhagwat

Get tickets for a sitar performance by Indian sitar maestro Anupama Bhagwat on Saturday, May 5 with the Gandhi Memorial CenterAnupama Bhagwat, one of the leading sitar players, has carved a niche in Indian Classical Music. She has been touching the hearts of audiences worldwide for over 15 years. Anupama plays in the Gayaki style, a lyrical and subtly nuanced style modelled upon the human voice. Bhagwat's technical virtuosity has been lauded by the connoisseurs world wide. Tickets for this event will be $20 payable at the door.  

 

CityDance DREAM Gala 

Get tickets for the CityDance DREAM Gala at the Historic Lincoln Theatre on May 5! The world's leading classical, contemporary, hip-hop and tap dance artists unite on the historic Lincoln Theatre stage for a heart pounding performance in support of CityDance DREAM, an organizations that uses dance to help young people discover their potential and pursue their dreams. Tickets to the gala are $25 to $42 each. You also may purchase a $250 ticket and enjoy an exclusive after-party and dancing with the DREAM Gala artists.
