These medium to small works of art are perfect holiday gifts. No matter the size, art is the gift that keeps on giving – and Zenith Gallery is featuring an array of great gifts. The three sculptures are from the Walters Art Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Freer Gallery of Art. This is the first time they are on display together. The exhibition explores how the sculptures were made and highlights how science can contribute to understanding art. Experts from the Freer|Sackler Department of Conservation and Scientific Research used specialized equipment and new methods to analyze the sculptures, exposing microscopic details. The Buddhas are on display at Freer|Sackler until June 10. | | Friday, December 22 Event - Annual Downtown Holiday Market Downtown DC BID Exhibit - Sounds from the Sea Honfleur Gallery Exhibit - Brasilia 1957: A 20th Century Saga Embassy of Brazil Theater - The Pajama Game Arena Stage Saturday, December 23 Event - Story Days: Susan B.
