The Embassy Series

In 1994, the Embassy Series made its debut. Since then, the Series has worked with over 200 ambassadors, hosted over 600 concerts in 73 different embassies involving more than 800 international artists from 80 countries and over 300 artists from the D.C. area. This renowned concert series presents some of the most critically acclaimed performers from around the world. Each performance is accompanied by a delightful dinner prepared by embassy chefs or other chefs with an international touch. An upcoming show includes Ustad Dilshad and Ensemble (Sufi & Pakistani music with national instruments) on Saturday, May 20.

Volunteer Capitol Hill

Volunteer Capitol Hill is an event designed to showcase a wide variety of opportunities for volunteer service. It was established in 2013 by the Old Naval Hospital Foundation to celebrate the contributions made by Nicky and Steve Cymrot to the Capitol Hill community. The event benefits nonprofit organizations by helping them recruit potential volunteers as well as network with other nonprofits. It also benefits members of the community by helping them match their skills and interests to the needs of the organizations. Meet at the Hill Center on April 29, for this unique event, and to play a greater role in the vitality of our community!

Ibero-America Film Showcase 2017
