 | |  Washington Sculptors Group The Washington Sculptors Group (WSG) is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting an awareness and understanding of sculpture and to fostering the exchange of ideas among sculptors, collectors, and the public. The WSG sponsors events, including artists' panels, presentations, workshops, public programs, and co-sponsors a variety of exhibitions in museums and alternative spaces in the Washington area. Organized in 1984, the work of the WSG is carried out by its Board of Directors, along with its members. | |  |  The Environmental Film Festival The Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital (DCEFF) is the world's premiere showcase of environmentally themed films. Annually in March, the Festival presents more than 200 films to an audience of over 33,000. Many of the screenings are free, and all are open to the public. During the year, DCEFF offers events and online resources as part of its work to advance public understanding of the environment through the power of film. |  500 Years of Years of Treasures from Oxford Corpus Christi College, one of the oldest of the 38 self-governing colleges at the modern University of Oxford, is a repository of extraordinary treasures, few of which have been seen by the public. To mark its 500th anniversary, a selection of 50 manuscripts and early printed books from its celebrated Library, is being brought to the United States for the first time. The artifacts range in date from the 10th to the 17th centuries and are presented in three languages--Latin, Greek and Hebrew.
