The Mexican Cultural Institute of DC at 2829 16th St NW presents ongoing cultural programs throughout the year. Estabished in 1990, the institute develops cultural planning in partnership with many institutions in the nation's capital. Architects Nathan Wyeth and George A. Fuller who designed the West Wing of the White House designed the mansion building, which served as a guest house for visiting dignitaries. In 1921, the Mexican government purchased the building to house the Embassy of Mexico. For more information and guided tours call 202-728-1628.
