Travel the world without leaving the city during Cultural Tourism DC’s month-long celebration of international culture with two popular embassy open houses.
- Around the World Embassy Tour takes place on May 5
- Short Cut to Europe: European Union Embassies’ Open House on May 12
- Annual Meridian International Children’s Festival on May 6
- National Asian Heritage Festival: Fiesta Asia Street Fair on May 19
- Month-long exhibit of international art at the National Museum of Women in the Arts
- Many more international exhibits, performances, and embassy cultural events

AROUND THE WORLD EMBASSY TOUR PHOTOS
Passport DC 2011 kicked off it's month long celebration of international culture with the Around the World Embassy Tour on May 1. Sixty embassies provided residents and visitors with the opportunity to leave the United States, without leaving DC. The photos (below) from the Around the World Embassy Tour include various activities that range from music and dance performances to food tastings and art markets and much more.
