We Fight We Die, by Timothy J. Guillot, fuses a Greek chorus of urban poets speaking in the rhythms of hip-hop and spoken word to tell the story of Q, a homeless virtuosic graffiti artist who has transfixed the city with his stunning and subversive work. Now that the police have finally caught him, Q is forced to license his talents to the local government in order to avoid jail.
