The deep reds of the Japanese maples, colorful chrysanthemums, and orange-red fruit of the firethorn are highlights of the fall foliage at Hillwood. Garden docents lead visitors through Hillwood’s gardens, explaining the story behind each of the formal gardens and identifying the plantings.

Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm; Select Sundays, 1 to 5 pm. Closed Mondays and most national holidays.

Café: The Café serves lunch Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Afernoon tea starts at 2:30 pm. The Café closes at 4:30 pm. Select Sundays, from 1:00 to 4:30 pm.

Museum The Hillwood Museum Shop offers an array of distinctive gifts, jewelry,
Shop: books, and décor inspired by founder Marjorie Merriweather Post, her style, life, and collections. Open during museum hours.

Suggested $12; $10 for visitors 65 and older; $7 for full-time college students; $5
Donation: for visitors age 6 to 18. Suggested donation waived for visitors under age 6.
Unless otherwise noted, programs listed above are included in the suggested donation.
