Presented as part of the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival, Genesis is the story of a man who believes himself to be a fallen angel, and is imprisoned in a mental institution as a result. Genesis explores the fine line between faith and delusion, raises the tough questions at the core of the Christian religion, and points out society’s willful ignorance of the mentally ill so as to avoid the moral quandaries their treatment raises.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Fringe Box Office, located at 607 New York Avenue, NW, online at www.capfringe.org, or by calling 866-811-4111. Tickets may also be purchased at the door, cash only, one hour prior to show time.
