The Steinway Series, which features the museum’s Steinway Concert Grand model D piano, is presented in the cool and comfortable surroundings of the museum’s state-of-the-art auditorium. Free tickets are available in the G Street Lobby thirty minutes before each program.

James D’León

Known as a versatile and outstanding classical pianist, Steinway Artist James D’León will present Thirty-two Variations on an Original Theme in C minor by Beethoven, Ballade No. 2 in B minor by Liszt, selections from Iberia by Albeniz, and the Ghost Variations for piano by George Tsontakis in a birthday tribute to Nam June Paik.
