Location

A night of adventure awaits you at the National Museum of Natural History - from seeing the IMAX film Galapagos 3-D to participating in a number of activities before rolling out your sleeping bag. A light snack and breakfast are included. Schedule includes the following:

• 7 to 7:30 PM Check-in
• 7:30 to 8 PM Orientation
• 8:00 to 8:40 PM Viewing of IMAX film Galapagos 3-D
• 8:40 PM to 12:10 AM Activities (scavenger hunt, art project, exhibit tour)
• 12:10 AM Bedtime
• 7:30 AM Breakfast
• 8:00 AM Family store opens
• 9:00 AM Cars must be removed from the museum parking lot.

Note: Ages 8-12 accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. There must be at least one adult for every three children in any group that registers. No siblings younger than 8. No adults without children.

Participants must pre-register and pay in advance by calling the Smithsonian at 202-633-3030 (M-F, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.).

You may also register at the Ticket Window in our office (M-F, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.).

Registration cut-off is 2 p.m. on Friday for both Friday and Saturday Sleepovers.

Absolutely no walk-in registrations are permitted.

The RELEASE FORM must be completed and signed by a parent before admittance. There must be a signed form for each participant. The form can be downloaded and returned at check-in on the night of the sleepover. It can also be faxed in to 202-786-2034.
