Parade/Festival: Capitol Hill 4th of July Parade

On Sunday July 4th, at 10AM Barracks Row will again host the annual Capitol Hill 4th of July Parade and the 4th of July Family Festival. This will be the 8th year for the celebration. Parade participants will congregate at 8th and I Streets SE at 9 AM. Everyone will begin marching at 10am, finishing at the Eastern Market Metro Plaza. The Metro Plaza at Pennsylvania and D Streets SE will host the Family Festival from 11AM-4PM, with food and fun provided by Naval Lodge No. 4 on Capitol Hill.

The Lodge will be on hand with hot dogs, beverages and other vendors will have arts and crafts and baked goods as well. A portion of the proceeds from the day's activities will go to benefit the Arts Education Fund for DC Public Schools on Capitol Hill.
