National Gallery of Art brings Children their special Halloween Film Time at their East Building Concourse, Auditorium on October 22, 10:30am and October 23, 11:30am. The show is titled "Victorian Halloween Magic-Lantern Show"
and is for ages 4 and up.
Travel back in time with Terry Borton, lead showman of the American Magic-Lantern Theater, for an authentic 1890s-style big screen extravaganza. Slides illustrate stories and songs, and a live showman and musician provide the soundtrack. This show will include such Victorian-era spooky stories as The Specter Pig, as well as sing-alongs such as "The Worms Crawl In."
Seating is on a first-come basis; registration not required,however Children must be accompanied by an adult.
