The Episcopal Catechism (BCP p. 855) says the ministry of lay persons is "to represent Christ and his Church; to bear witness to him wherever they may be; and according to the gifts given to them, to carry on Christ's work of reconciliation in the world; and to take their place in the life, worship, and governance of the Church."
During the Epiphany season, the Education and Spirituality Ministry Team is hosting conversations Sundays at 12:30pm on ministry. We'll explore terms and encourage you to consider YOUR life of faith and ministry 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
