February 9, 2012 - 6:00pm

Come listen to author John DeFerrari discuss his recently published book LOST Washington, D.C. based on his blog, the Streets of Washington. Mr. DeFerrari will also talk specifically about one of the stories in his book - the Key Mansion in Georgetown, home of Francis Scott Key. LOST Washington, D.C. was published by The History Press in Fall 2011. One reviewer noted that "books such as DeFerrari’s push us to look up from our devices and enter a past that is not virtual, but part of a living city." DeFerrari's talk will be followed by a question and answer session and book signing. For assurance of having your own book that evening, advance purchase is available. Books will be available for purchase during the evening if not pre-sold out. For additional information, please contact Kanani at Programs@DumbartonHouse.org, or 202-337-2288. http://lostwashingtondc.eventbrite.com/
