The Smithsonian Chamber Music Society’s Axelrod Quartet performs Beethoven’s “Quartet in G Major, Op. 18 No.2,” Brahms’s “Quartet in A Minor, Op. 51 No. 2,” and Schumann’s “Quartet in A Major, Op. 41 No. 3.” Lecture begins at 6:30PM and concert follows at 7:30PM. Tickets ($25–$31) are required: (202) 633-3030 or residentassociates.org. This program takes place at the museum’s Renwick Gallery, located on Pennsylvania Avenue at 17th Street, NW.
