The monumental Kingdom of the Shades is considered the crowning achievement of the great Imperial Ballet Master, Marius Petipa. It is the most stunning use of a corps de ballet in all ballet history. With a stunning corps of 32 female dancers entering the stage single file in a dream-like sequence, Kingdom of the Shades is sure to enthrall and transport the audience.
