This exhibition involves the re-mixing of old school instant photography in a digital era and features projects by Rachel Beamer & Lindsay Talley. It will run from September 24 through October 22.

 

Three Seasons: the sprint and the still is a hybrid of film-based and digital photographic processes, that consists of Fuji emulsion lifts that have been scanned, enlarged and printed as certified Digigraphie prints. This series explores Paris, the Pacific Coast, the Shenandoah Valley and Washington, DC.

 

Lindsay's photographs are shot digitally, enlarged to slightly larger than standard Polaroid size, and are displayed on individual handmade shelves. These are intimate moments, inviting the viewer into the story by way of rich textures and feelings of nostalgia.
