Independence Day Parade

Washington, DC’s Independence Day Parade
Parade Start Time: 11:45 a.m.
Parade Route: Constitution Avenue and 7th to 17th Sts.

Join us in the Nation's Capital this Fourth of July for a celebration of America's 234th birthday. Nowhere else is this celebration as significant as in the place where our treasured memorials embody America's ideals and where our country's representative institutions fulfill America's promise. We celebrate 234 years of independence and the continuing promise of freedom.

Washington, DC’s 4th of July Parade features marching bands, military and specialty units, floats, and VIP's. The parade draws a large crowd, so plan to arrive early to stake out a good viewing spot. Read more about the National Independence Day Parade
