This year’s theme is abolition--then and now.
The U.S. Ambassador to Combat Trafficking, Luis CdeBaca will deliver the keynote address. Dr. Edna Medford of Howard University will moderate a panel discussion on Douglass. Actor Fred Morsel will take the stage as Douglass.
The Frederick Douglass birthday celebration will be a party for all ages, with children's activities, history, live Douglass speeches, and house tours!
