NoMa BID teams with local stakeholders and movie promotions company Moonflicks, Inc., to bring three free kid-friendly movies to the greater NoMa neighborhood, hosted in Sursum Corda at the plaza at First and L Streets, NW, on June 19, July 12, August 7. The event features free food for the first 100 neighborhood children. The August 7 event coincides with National Night Out, a police department-organized event which promotes night-time safety for families and children.
