John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. An American Playlist. Acclaimed opera singer and D.C. native Harolyn Blackwell, Grammy winner and 2006 Kennedy Center Honoree Smokey Robinson, Grammy winner John Mayer, and saxophonist Branford Marsalis join the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Hugh Wolff and Sarah Hicks in a program of classical works and popular song.
*Free, tickets required. Tickets for this performance will be distributed Saturday, July 10, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Hall of Nations (line forms to left of entrance).
