Community Screening of the Deanwood Oral History Project

Building on the work of the Deanwood History Committee, and the publication of Washington, D.C.'s Deanwood, young people of Ward 7, researched the community's history and interviewed some community elders, to get their reflections on life in the community.

Come out for the screening of the Deanwood Oral History Project's DVD on Saturday, September 25, 2010, 1:00 - 3:00 pm, at the IDEA Public Charter School, located at 1027 45th Street, NE. Enjoy food, fun, and fellowship with other community members and friends. Before the event, enjoy a stroll through the neighborhood as a part of Cultural Tourism DC's WalkingTown DC.
