Class: Facing History: Be the Artist Program

Children and their families are invited to participate in a two-hour art class to better understand an artwork by Partricia Horing on view in the “Outwin-Boochever Portrait Competition 2009” exhibition.  Registered participants will take a brief guided tour of the exhibition, focusing on a work by Horing and then create their own artwork inspired by her piece. Free and open to the public. The program is recommended for children ages 5 and older who must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited; call (202) 633-8501 to register.
