Awards Reception: The Military Road School Donnessa Lucas Memorial Scholarship

Military Road School Preservation Trust. A ceremony recognizing six Washington Metropolitan Area students as recipients of the Military Road School Donnessa Lucas Memorial Scholarship Award for the 2010-2011 school year will be held on Saturday, July 17 at 1:00 p.m at the Charles Sumner School Museum and Archives, located at 1201 17th Street, N.W. This event will feature a mini musical concert by Mr. Harold Sutton and special greetings from Honorary Military Road School Alumnus Karen Gray Houston, as well as other special guests. A reception will follow the ceremony.
