The company directs multilingual cultural and themed tours, provides culture, communication, and event management seminars and workshops throughout the Metro DC area, Southeast Asia, China, South Africa, and Europe; and offers professional tour guide training to prepare future tour leaders to pass the DC license exam and position them to serve as leading tour professionals.

Coupled with inspiration and imagination, WTE aims to infuse its tourism, tour guide training, and event management services with the most up-to-date information so that those it serves are never lacking in creative knowledge and empowering education.

As the founder of WTE, Maricar R. Donato brings a level of excellence and professionalism that is unequaled in the tourism and event management industry. Charismatic and passionate, she’s lived and studied in both Paris, France, and DC, and now speaks six languages.
