The Embassy of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas is located along historic Embassy Row in Washington, DC. Ambassador Cornelius A Smith leads the staff of Bahamian diplomats and consular officers in both bilateral responsibilities such as relations with the United States government, and multilateral responsibilities including relations with the Organization of American States.

Throughout the year, the Embassy participates in the Cultural life of Washington DC, both in events held elsewhere and through events hosted on the Embassy grounds, such as the delightful Passport DC Embassy tours.

The Embassy serves the Bahamian population in the DC Metro area, and those wishing to visit The Bahamas.
