Washington, DC is home to some of the most recognizable attractions [1] in the world. Among them are the U.S. Capitol, White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, National Cathedral, historic neighborhoods and homes, large and small museums like the Smithsonian Institute and the Textile museum, and the National Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Culture Kids [8] are activities and events that are specifically targeted to children or are family friendly. From festivals and museums to children-focused plays and productions, Culture Kids offers fun activities for your whole family.
Many of DC’s historic neighborhoods [4] are cherished geographical parcels that make the city whole. Varied in architecture and ethnicities, foods and historical footnotes, our neighborhoods have distinct personalities, but together are the heart of our city.
