Georgetown War of 1812 Walking Tour  Visit and view areas of Georgetown this Saturday for a tour de force of the area during the Second Revoluntionary War. Tour includes a visit to the Dumbarton House and will end at the Francis Scott Key Park.

National Musuem of the US Navy Family Day Join the National Museum of the US Navy at the Washington Navy Yard on August 24 to commemorate the Battle of Bladensburg and the burning of the Navy Yard. Then, head to the museum for fun activities, and a memorial wreath laying at the Navy Memorial Plaza at 4pm.
Dolley Day at Dumbarton House Take a trip back in time to August 24, 1814 when the Britsh marched toward Washington and Dolley was preparing for a party. This Sunday at the Dumbarton House, make your own ice cream, play games and sample Dolley cake!
