Volunteer during Passport DC! Be a Cultural Tourism DC Ambassador during the Around the World Embassy Tour on Saturday, May 6. This event is an exciting way to learn about the diplomatic community in DC and meet fellow Washingtonians!
The Around the World Embassy Tour features more than 40 embassies that open their doors to DC residents and visitors. Each embassy presents various aspects of cultural heritage including food, art, dance, fashion, music and more. Information booths located at Dupont Circle, Van Ness, and the National Cathedral are hubs for activity where volunteers guide participants to embassies throughout the day.
- Event Date and Time: Saturday, May 6, 10am – 4pm (AM and PM shifts available)
- Location: Lots of embassies and three information booths located at Dupont Circle, Van Ness, and the National Cathedral.
- Orientation: Various dates and times are offered during the week of May 1st. After you sign up to be a volunteer, you will receive an invitation to register for your choice, either an in person or conference call orientation.
