Cabaret Series at Olney Theatre

Summer cabarets return to the Root Family Stage at Olney Theatre. Every week performers tackle a different theme, artist, or genre of music. Whether you love Latin Beats, the matchless music of Stephen Sondheim, the keyboard and piano-driven sounds of Stevie Wonder and Billy Joel, or the rich legacy of Black Musical Theatre, this Cabaret Series takes you on a diverse sonic adventure. Relax with a glass of wine or a beer brewed in Montgomery County and let the music take your troubles away. Check the calendar here.

Embassy of the Republic of Cameroon
Last May, the Embassy of the Republic of Cameroon participated in the 2022 Around the World Embassy Tour. It opened its historic building to hundreds of people to enjoy the rich and diverse culture of Cameroon. People learned from culinary and art exhibitions about dance, fashion and Cameroon's unique tourism opportunities. Christian Hauge, a diplomat from Norway, commissioned the mansion that now serves as the chancellery.
