Cultural Tourism DC Guidelines for Individual Membership
QUALIFICATIONS
- Individuals who present more than 50% of their professional artistic or cultural activities, performances, or exhibitions in Washington, DC, and
- Organize, or present in, or facilitate at least two cultural activities, performances, or exhibitions per year in Washington, DC, and
Qualify under one or more of the following criteria:
- Operate a museum, library, or cultural attraction; or
- Teach the arts or arts administration; or
- Conduct cultural education or research; or
- Work to increase awareness of DC cultural activities and institutions among residents and visitors through formalized programs or activities; or
- Serve as a consistent and professional resource for neighborhoods seeking to develop their cultural tourism potential; or
- Be a current member of one or more cultural or artistic professional associations, such as but not limited to AIGA, the Metropolitan Washington DC Federation of Musicians, Actors’ Equity Association.

One year membership – based on same anniversary dates as orgs
Standard rate $95
Full-time Students $45

Ala Carte
- $25 per event listings on CulturalTourismDC.org website (First listing is free)
- A free one-hour professional development consultation per year with a member of the Leadership Team. Additional hours are priced at the discounted rate of $25 versus the regular rate of $125 hourly
