From the Executive Director
Cultural Tourism DC gets a makeover!
If you are reading this, you are already enjoying Cultural Tourism DC's new website. We’re quite excited…hope you will be too!
Over the years many of you told us how much you enjoy the quality and variety of content Cultural Tourism DC offers on its website. You also said “can you make it easier to use?” We heard you and are addressing your needs.
This new website represents the first step in improving your online experience with Cultural Tourism DC. We revamped our site to create a more enjoyable and interactive experience for users. It’s just more fun to use! And, you will now have the opportunity to share your experiences with Cultural Tourism DC programs and member organizations through stories, pictures and video!
What a great time to launch the new site. As we head into spring there are so many incredible things to do and see in Washington, DC. The new interactive maps and “Plan My Itinerary” feature will allow you to more effectively get out there and discover the city. We also gussied up the site’s appearance to make the CulturalTourismDC.org more appealing and easier to read.
I want to emphasize that this is a first step in improving your online experience. Over the next few months we will continue to improve upon the site, providing you with additional content and new features. In this initial phase you are bound to find a problem we missed. So as you browse the site please share your feedback with us so that we can continue to make improvements.
Thank you for supporting Cultural Tourism DC and have fun exploring the new site…and the city, its neighborhoods and our wonderful CTDC members!
