Each year as flowering trees bloom, residents and visitors to Washington, DC admire the Cherry Blossom trees, donated by the country of Japan honoring the friendship between the two countries. This year celebrates the 100th anniversary of the gift of trees.
Below, you will find a list of Cherry Blossom related events occuring at arts and cultural organizations around the city, both exploring the beauty of the trees and honoring and examining Japanese history and art.
