Chef Maziar Farivar, Chef and Co-owner of Georgetown’s Peacock Café


Chef Farivar brings more than 25 years of restaurant experience to his position of chef and partner of the Peacock Café. His career began in San Francisco, where Maziar worked as a waiter and host at the well-regarded Nob Hill Café and later as manager of the world-famous Stars restaurant, owned and operated by Jeremiah Tower one of the earliest proponents of what has since become known as California Cuisine. Chef Farivar and his brother Shahab Farivar teamed up to open their own restaurant, the Peacock Café in 1991.
