Brown is the founder (2002) and owner of CakeLove retail bakerie and Love Café with seven locations in the Washington, DC, area. Brown’s achievements and entrepreneurial spirit have garnered attention from local and national media outlets including the Oprah Winfrey Show, the Today Show, NPR. He has also appeared in national advertising campaigns for American Express and Dell computers. He was the host of the TV show Sugar Rush on the Food Network from 2005 to 2007 and wrote two cookbooks, CakeLove-how to bake cakes from scratch (2008) and United Cakes of America (2010).
