Chef James hails from the cool parish of Manchester in Central Jamaica. She received certification as a sous chef from the award-winning Runaway Bay HEART Hotel and Training Institute in St. Ann, Jamaica. As personal chef to the Ambassador of Jamaica to the United States since 2004, her culinary specialties have been enjoyed by the diplomatic community as well as dignitaries of the Jamaican and U.S. Governments. As chef for the Embassy of Jamaica since 2008, Chef James plans and executes all menus for its events.
