Chef Maisashvili began his culinary career in 1985 as a sous-chef at the Hotel Iveria in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he was promoted to chef de cuisine. A culinary arts graduate of Tbilisi Cooperative Institute, Chef Maisashvili has received a wide variety of awards and recognitions including the title “Chef Extraordinaire” during the Georgian Cultural Festival in Zurich (2003), “Chef of the Year” by the Georgian National Academy (2006), and winner of the Georgian national culinary contest (2007). Since 2009, Chef Maisashvili has served as executive chef of the M-Group restaurant chain in Tblisi.
