Cultural Tourism DC and Mayor Vincent Gray Q&A pt 1

Linda Harper, Executive Director of Cultural Tourism DC, asks questions of Mayor Gray from it's members at the Cultural Tourism DC Annual Meeting. 

On January, 20th, newly elected Mayor Vincent Gray addressed approximately 150 art and cultural leaders and administrators from 85 member organizations at the Cultural Tourism DC 2011 Annual Meeting. Speaking at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, Mayor Gray detailed his vision for what arts and culture should be throughout the city.

During his speech, Gray outlined how arts organizations have helped to stabilize neighborhoods and gave as examples: Studio Theatre near Logan Circle, the Lincoln Theatre on U Street NW, and the Shakespeare Theatre Company at Gallery Place.
