A Time to Give

The National Museum of Crime and Punishment is doing the holidays differently this year. Joining forces with Mission of Love and other local charities, the National Crime and Punishment is hosting a mega Community Drive. The Mission of Love Charities, Inc. is a nonprofit multifaceted health and human services organization devoted to meeting the basic needs of the underprivileged in the region by providing programs that offer short term stability. Starting in November, people can drop off more than just canned goods to help those in need. During business hours, the museum will be opening its doors to those looking to donate new and gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and other winter apparel.

In the spirit of the holidays, the community drive will extend past Thanksgiving into the New Year. For those who do choose to donate an item, the National Museum of Crime and Punishment will discount tickets $3 off admission.
