(August 26, 2011)--The Washington DC Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation, Inc. announced today that, in the interest of public safety due to impending severe weather expected in Washington, DC, plans for the memorial dedication originally scheduled for Sunday, August 28, have been changed. The official Dedication ceremony will be moved to a date yet to be determined in September or October.
