Start a new holiday tradition with fun activities that are sure to give you a reason to remember this holiday season. This City Hop is guaranteed to show off the best that the city of Washington has to offer its residents and visitors during Holiday season.

After opening the gifts, gather your family and loved ones for an early start to enjoying Christmas day. Head over to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (400 Michigan Avenue NE) for a Solemn Christmas Day Mass. Be sure to walk inside and the grounds of the church to see all that the complex structure has to offer. Check out their gift shop for special treats and trinkets for any extra stocking stuffers.

After you finish with Mass and exploring the church grounds, meander over to the Willard InterContinental Hotel (1401 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW) for a delicious brunch. Feast on some of the most aesthetic and equally delicious treats and beverages that the Willard has to offer.

Burn a few Christmas cheer calories, and walk over to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (2700 F St, NW) for a special All-Star Christmas Day Jazz Jam.

Bonus: Not in the mood to cook an ornate Christmas dinner? Stop by the Madison (1177 15th Street, NW) for a robust three course Christmas dinner prepared by renowned Chef de Cuisine Harper McClure.
